Foster Care Associates (FCA) started in a small Worcestershire countryside office in 1994 by foster carer Jan Rees and social worker Jim Cockburn covering just the West Midlands area.

That was 25 years ago and since then we have evolved and grown to become one of the largest and most established fostering agencies in the UK. We have supported over 30,000 children and young people during this time.

An FCA spokesperson said “I am so proud to be acknowledging and celebrating such an important milestone. Our passion to provide children and young people with high quality care from first class foster parents has never compromised and I think this is clearly evidenced. It is important to recognise that none of this would have been possible without our fantastic foster parents, families, staff and professionals from across the sector who have supported and continue to support us, thank you. Here is to the next 25 years of FCA and making a difference!”
