The FCA Northern Ireland team raised over £1,800 in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

The FCA Northern Ireland team raised over £1800.00 in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Featuring a raffle and a Great Summer Bake Off cake competition, the coffee morning event at their office in Belfast was aimed at local foster carers and staff. Anyone interested in becoming a foster carer was encouraged to come along and have an informal chat whilst helping to raise money and support a worthy cause.

Local pub and restaurant Horatio Todd’s kindly donated over £530 from their pub quiz that was held in September, which helped contribute towards the outstanding amount.

Ciara Doyle, Fostering Services Manager said “We are absolutely thrilled that we have managed to generate such a sizeable amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support and we are delighted with the difference that this will make. Our coffee morning has shown how staff, foster families and local businesses can work together to support a great cause, whilst celebrating the fantastic work done in the foster care system here in Northern Ireland”.
