We had an amazing day with William St James and his team at Donington Race Track!

Carer leaver William, was fostered with us from the age of 11 through to his late teens. Named the 2019 Rock Star Entrepreneur of the Year, he’s an incredible inspiration and openly shares his positive experiences of being in care with FCA.

With the incredible support of his foster parents, Helen and Ken, William has achieved his dream of becoming a racing driver! He shares how his passion for racing began and how he’s turned it into a thrilling career.

‘I was recently asked how I got into racing, and it’s actually a pretty funny story. I have to give all the credit to my foster mom, Helen. I’m so grateful for the inspiration she provided. When I was 13, she surprised me with a Ferrari Driving Experience for my birthday, and I think that was the moment the seed was planted for my passion. Ever since then, I’ve had a strong interest in cars, and FCA has been there supporting me along the way. Honestly, I wouldn’t be racing without them.’
