FCA Cymru has always been a leader in providing quality care, support, and outcomes for young people in Wales. That’s why we’re embracing new legislation and will become a not-for-profit (NFP) provider to allow us to continue to support our foster parents and young people across Wales.

Here at Foster Care Associates Cardiff, we pride ourselves as being a friendly and welcoming group of people, who strive to make a difference to children and families lives.

In order to support our foster parents and children and young people in the best possible way, we have a regional group of highly skilled social workers and our own therapist who are brimming with experience and knowledge.

As well as continued around the clock support from your regional team, we provide you with ongoing training to help develop your skills throughout your fostering journey, including:

It’s really important to us in Cardiff that we welcome you into the Foster Care Associates family. That’s why we hold local support groups on a regular basis, to give you the time to reflect, share achievements and advice. Cardiff Fostering Allowance and Benefits

At Foster Care Associates Cardiff, we believe foster parents should be rewarded for their hard work in changing children’s lives. That’s why we offer an allowance that takes into consideration the demands and cost of foster care. In addition, as a foster parent, you will receive additional benefits, including tax exemption on the first £10,000 you earn per year and additional tax breaks.

There’s always something fun going on in the Foster Care Associates Cymru region; from theme park trips to fun day picnics to singing in the annual Foster Care Associates Big Sing Off Competition.
