Foster parent highlights need for more people from ethnic minorities to foster

Claudia from FCA Thames Valley recently featured on BBC South's news programme in an interview highlighting the need for more people from ethnic minority backgrounds to foster and the importance of cultural matching.  

Foster parent Claudia from FCA Thames Valley recently featured on BBC South’s news programme in an interview highlighting the need for more people from ethnic minority backgrounds to foster and the importance of cultural matching.  

Claudia’s eight year old daughter Annalise was also interviewed talking about her experience of being part of a fostering family.

As part of the interview Claudia states ‘ I would like to see more people from the BAME community come forward and start their fostering journey.  Fostering gives an element of fulfilment but ultimately there are children that need you’.
