Our fostering teams are on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so if you need some advice or a helping hand, we’re here for you.

Free confidential, impartial advice, support and guidance to foster parents across the UK.
Access to our online portal
Get free and instant access to information and advice, plus access to a wide range of discounts and offers to some major retailers and online stores.
Event & activities
We host a wide range of national and local events and activities for all the family to enjoy.
Training & development
We’ll prepare you to foster and keep developing your skills with an ongoing training programme featuring both face to face and online courses.

Access to professional expertise

Social Work Support

You’ll have a dedicated supervising social worker who is your main point of contact. You’ll meet regularly to monitor progress, answer any queries and help you develop your skills.

Team Parenting

Our unique model of support that forms a close-knit team of professionals around you and your foster child.

Therapy Service

Our therapists will help you understand your foster child so that you can find ways of responding to their needs that will make all the difference to them.

Helping to keep your fostered children in school and achieving the best they can.

We really do get children and young people to share their ideas and feedback on what really matters to them. They are also there help your foster child access the very best career opportunities. We are proud to have local participation services that actively engages our children and young people.

We have offices and fostering teams across the UK so wherever you are we’re committed to delivering exceptional support.

There’s also the support that comes from other foster parents, and we organise regular events to bring them together this can either be through a support group or social event. There’s always something going on near you, and always someone you can talk to because when you foster with our fostering service you are never on your own.

Excellent allowances and benefits

While payment isn’t the main reason people enter fostering, it’s nonetheless important as it recognises your hard work and commitment. It also helps cover all the costs of looking after a child – including, clothes, food, household bills and little treats along the way. After all you are doing a professional job, and we believe you should be rewarded accordingly and so offer a generous and highly competitive package. The exact amount depends on where you’re based and the child you’re fostering. The fostering allowance also gives you a number of tax exemptions and won’t affect any of your existing benefits.
