Support Services

FCA’s ‘team parenting’ approach is designed to meet a wide range of needs, including those of children and young people with complex and complicated histories who may make considerable demands upon their carers. We offer intensive support to our foster carers, children, young people and their families through an extensive network of locally based resources and multi-disciplinary teams of child care professionals.

The development of our range of support services is based on the agency’s belief that if appropriate packages of support are available to foster carers, then children and young people who would otherwise be unable to live within a family environment are able to do so.
